0.3 is coming along well, I think I've got AIGLX working again finally, so that might also be included in the next version.

We are in Japan and I have split the photos from Korea on the gallery. Once again you can read my personal blog here and the photos from the trip here if you are interested.

Will update again when I have some more progress news on 0.3.

Ok, I haven't had much time to work on Kororaa since I've been traveling, however I do have an almost working version 0.3.

The problem I am facing is getting both AIGLX and Xgl to work. I had AIGLX working with compiz, but Xgl was segfaulting. I had to update to compiz-quinnstorm and use the new window decorator which is working well, however now AIGLX does not work.

So I'm trying to see if there is a way AIGLX will work with compiz-quinnstorm (currently when I execute compiz the desktop disappears and I can't click anywhere). If I can get this solved, then 0.3 will be just around the corner!

Let me know if you know how to get compiz-quinnstorm working with AIGLX :)

Matt and I are well on our way around Asia. We flew from Sydney to Hong Kong to Seoul where we are staying with Tthu, a friend of ours. We leave on Monday for Japan.

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the lack of updates recently. I have been busy, very very busy, but I have been working on Kororaa too so never fear!

Kororaa Live CD 0.3 is on the way. It will be contain GPL only video drivers and will also sport AIGLX as well as Xgl. Matt and I are currently testing the updated installer etc, so stay tuned!

On a related note, Matt and I are leaving the country this coming Tuesday 12th to visit Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. If you are in that area let us know, we might be able to drop by!
