Kororaa XGL reviewed @ Tuxmachines
Tuesday, March 14, 2006, 20:08
The LiveCD has been reviewed over at Tuxmachines.org:

"I booted it up and was immediately impressed with the lovely boot splash. But the best was yet to come. We briefly saw the pretty login screen, but since autologin was enabled, it just went on by and a nice dressed up gnome-looking desktop appeared. At first glance it appears to be your normal gnome desktop except for the menu effects. The menus kinda fade in and out as they roll out and back. The beautiful color scheme is immediately obvious as well as the really tasteful wallpaper."

I have just found out that the ISO has been taken offline due to server overload.
Please use bittorrent from here if you would like to grab the ISO while I sort this out.
Very sorry for the inconvenience.

Kororaa Beta2 R1
Tuesday, December 13, 2005, 21:44
A big thank you to everyone who has been supporting Kororaa. The response has been truly amazing.
Today I am happy to announce the release of Kororaa Beta2 Release 1!
We have made many changes to the installer for clarification purposes (the installer is much cleaner now), but have also re-written the grub bootloader code and various other sections to fix issues some people were having. Major changes include update to KDE 3.5, Linux 2.6.14 Kernel, cleaner installer and code changes, inclusion of DVB TV support and browser plugins "out of the box", and finally an installation manual! (And still OpenOffice 2, scanner, digital camera, CD and USB drive automounting, DVD and multimedia support, etc). There are screenshots of the entire process here, and all the CDs are currently available via bittorrent. I am very happy with this release, I hope you enjoy!
